after celebrating the birthday of Karla-chan, she, hector and nahoko-chan (who came for the first time to kyushu from tokyo), and me, went to nagasaki. we had a holiday on monday. i didnt knew that there was a festival but i am glad that i could seen it. there was a lot of people. first we went to a temple where some dances where performed but we could ot saw too much but it was good. then we saw the holland ship and the dragon of good luck that visits every store in the city. after, some horses and alegoric cars passed in an avenue, people throwed some money to these cars. btw, i saw a turkish kebap store! … the rest of the day we have time to walk a little around, i mean, we rushed to see must of nagasaki in one day. we passed throught dejima (the only island where forigners could make trade when japan closed its borders), the chinese temple and the museum of the atomic bomb. after getting lost we ate some chanpon (traditional noodles from nagasaki). we came back the same day… nahoko-chan is very brave for driving both ways same day (3hrs+3hrs). this was a nice day, but at the end we got all tired.
